TB Davies launched its new contemporary balustrade system at its stand at Grand Designs 2012 at the London Excel, but it was the company’s outdoor metal railing that commanded much attention from visitors to the stand. The company said that the show had been “a real success,” with hundreds of project enquiries, including a large number of developers and garden designers.
TB Davies exhibition of its Prova, contemporary stainless steel and aluminium balustrade system, at the show resulted in several orders for the system many of which taken on the stand, the company states. Francis Camilleri, sales manager for TB Davies said, “The stand was a constant flow of activity. Everyone we spoke to praised the quality of the product range, which has been a huge success across many European markets, and this is mirrored in the quality of the leads.
“At the event we launched three different options, including glass, stainless steel tubes, and stainless cable options. It offers style at a competitive price, easy DIY advantages along with excellent overall long-term durability and low maintenance. Initial customer feedback indicates it will make a real impact in the market.”
Prova is a slim lined balustrade and railing system intended for easy DIY installation and low ongoing maintenance. The sleek design provides a clear unobstructed view from decks, paved areas, and balconies. The system is also equally adept at opening up interior spaces to create dramatic sightlines and make small spaces seem larger.
“Prova is a unique contemporary product that provides a clear view in a dark market dominated by timber,” said James Gray communications director at TB Davies.” We were excited to bring this line of balustrade specifically positioned for customers looking for a clean modern look and the level of response has been astounding. In the first few days following the show we have seen a huge increase in unique visitors to our website over the comparable year ago time period and our social media engagement is rising significantly.”
The new Prova Range offers a stainless steel balustrade that is easy to fit, easy to maintain and brings style to customers projects. The collection includes three infill options including cables, glass and tubes along with a choice of aluminium or solid beech handrails. Prices are approximately £200 per linear metre for either the cable or stainless steel options.
