TB Davies ladders today launched its latest flagship work platform, part of its range aimed at the professional user. The company has spent the last twelve months talking to customers and looked at every rivet, nut and bolt to evolve their Super-Pro line, now in its third generation.
Bob Baldock, the General Manager of TB Davies, said: “Our philosophy is to find out what is the customers problem and find a solution. Our sales representatives are our eyes and ears on site, they find out what the issues are and we think about what we can do to address them. The Super-Pro 360 is about taking the existing product and making it better. Small steps not a new species every year.”
The new 360 model is stress tested to 300kg and made to the exacting standards of BS 2037 Class 1. The overall construction is from industrial grade aluminium finished in a clean touch black coating with dual high visibility orange handrails for added user safety.
“The key message coming from our front line sales teams is that customer’s safety is their primary concern when working from steps,” said Francis Camilleri, Sales Manager. “The Super-Pro incorporates everything inside a step ladder the user could require. Safety is enhanced by increasing the platform size by twice that of a conventional step and raising the high support rail to create a 360 degree work zone.”
TB Davies engineers have also greatly improved stability by introducing an easy-close spreader system that reduces twisting and creep. The latest generation retains the deep tool tray now incorporated into the support rail and fitted wheels deliver effortless manoeuvrability on site.
The humble stepladder has finally reached the pinnacle of evolution with every conceivable safety and user feature packed into one work platform. The Super-Pro 360 will be available at builder’s merchants and industrial supply companies nationwide from this autumn.
