Accredited by the Ladder Association (tLA), this one day course (typically 8.30am - 3.30pm) is conducted at your company premises, and can accommodate up to a maximum of 12 delegates. The objective of the course are to provide candidates with the necessary information in the safe use and inspection of ladders and allied access products. Updated to reflect the requirements of the Working At Heights Regulations this course provides an understanding of the hazards, and measures required to control the risks associated with their use. At the end of the instruction the candidates will to have an understanding of the statutory regulations and be able to select and identify different types of access products for the task at hand. In addition to learning safe use and carrying techniques operatives will also understand how to conduct basic product inspections. The course offers nationally recognised training for anyone who uses supervises or manages the use of ladders and stepladders. Successful candidates will receive a tLA Certificate of Competency, a photo-ID card valid for five years , and a copy of the tLA's User Guide.
