Advancements in Ladder Design by America’s Little Giant Ladder Systems Help Prevent Accidents & Deaths
The leading American manufacturer Little Giant Ladder Systems announced today a new European line of innovative, safe ladder products will be launched at The Health & Safety Event at the NEC Birmingham on 11-13th March 2014.
H. Arthur Wing, President of Little Giant Ladder Systems explained, ‘According to the World Health Organisation in the United States we lead the world in reported ladder deaths with over one hundred and sixty four thousand people treated in emergency rooms each year.’
‘At Little Giant Ladder Systems, we are committed to keeping people safe and are proud of the fact that these new additions to our European programme have been preventing injuries and saving lives across the United States since we introduced them in 2010.’
For years, ladders remained unchanged with virtually no advancements in design or functionality until Little Giant Ladder Systems put its first product on the market. Today satisfied Little Giant customers include NASA, US Military, Boeing, HP, Intel etc.
Amongst the innovations at the show is The Cage™ that is unlike any other enclosed platform allowing work on uneven ground, at multiple heights and even on stairs. The extension ladder is equipped with two adjustable outriggers that more than double its base width and an innovative levelling mechanism that adjusts on each side for use on sloping or uneven surfaces.
Bob Baldock, General Manager of TB Davies, the official distributor of Little giant in the UK said, ‘Little Giants advancements in ladder design save time, money, and most importantly lives which is why millions of businesses and homeowners across the world have chosen Little Giant Ladders. They have been the consistent leader in ladder innovation and safety, always engineering new ways to keep its customers safe.’
Little Giant Ladder Systems will be on stand C24 at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC). For more information, visit www.littlegiantladders.com or www.www.tbdavies.co.uk.
