Making working at height as safe as standing on solid ground

Next-Generation Horizon Combination Ladder Makes Its Debut

March 12, 2011

“The new improved model is a clear demonstration that our product development strategy is providing our customers with great products that harness the best ladder technology,” said James Gray, TB Davies Director of Communications.

“The all new rectangular section allows us to provide a robust ladder offering an excellent strength to weight ratio, anti-slip square rungs and the wide stance offers a level of safety beyond industry expectations,” he added.

The new will be available in 6 sizes starting at 7 rungs per section all the way through to 12 rungs per section. The three sections allow the user to use it as a stepladder, an extended step, or an extension ladder for maximum flexibility.

“Our customers increasingly want stronger ladders that are not too heavy and still offer a wide variety of functions,” explained Chris Chivell, TB Davies Senior Account Manager.

“Our new range helps meet that challenge by ensuring the ladder far exceeds the minimum requirements laid out in the more stringent EN131:2 2010 standards.” said Chivell.

TB Davies Group has developed a standard that defines the exact attributes one of its access products should have to meet the quality requirements of the brand. Examples of the innovative and high quality features are clearly included in its flagship products from Little Giant and Xtend & Climb alongside prestigious contracts for the demanding aerospace industry, servicing clients such as the Ministry of Defence, British Airways and Easy Jet.

This meticulous attention to detail is reflected in the TB Davies Group manufacturing strategy for both production and bespoke projects, with consistent standards and processes being applied in every part of the business from design and production through to consideration of the end customer operating the equipment.
