Established family run business TB Davies (Cardiff) Ltd attended a gala dinner last night as part of the Welsh Business Awards 2017. The company was nominated in the category of ‘Commitment to Skills and People Development’ but unfortunately were not successful in winning the finalist award. Thirty-five top Welsh companies competed to be recognised as businesses that play a fundamental role in driving the local economy forward.
The Welsh Business Awards 2016 announced finalists in ten categories with TB Davies being nominated as finalist for ‘Commitment to Skills and People Development’. The Managing Director of TB Davies (Cardiff) David Gray was honoured to have been nominated as a finalist in this category against local competing businesses including Wolfestone and LBS Builders Merchants with SPTS Technologies winning the award.
TB Davies was thrilled to be at the forefront of such a prestigious award ceremony run by the South Wales Chamber of Commerce. With over seventy years’ experience as a ladder specialist, also being recognised for their excellence in developing the skills and abilities of their workforce is a significant step.
