FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Cardiff company TB Davies is delighted to announce that Francis Camilleri (pictured left) has been invited to join its Board of Directors.
As Director, Francis will oversee the company’s business development strategy and service offering across various trade sectors.
With 26 years of industry experience, Francis first joined TB Davies in a telesales position back in 1993, gradually progressing through the business to gain experience in product development, IT, marketing, purchasing, and finally managing the sales team whilst working on numerous multi-dimensional initiatives to assist business growth.
Managing Director, David Gray, said: “We are delighted to welcome Francis to join the Board of Directors at TB Davies. As a family company we place great emphasis on training and mentoring, resulting in much of our staff choosing to stay with us for a very long time.
“Francis has earned his position on the Board through years of dedication, hard work, and his demonstrated commitment to the company and its ethos. Congratulations Francis – a very well-deserved appointment.”
With close to three decades in the industry, Francis has successfully delivered a variety of impressive projects from concept through to completion, with wide ranging experience from working across many industry sectors, regulatory and industry bodies.
Francis is responsible for TB Davies’s key clients and he said: “I was surprised and honoured to join the board as next year will be celebrating our 75th year. I look forward in my new role to doing my part in delivering our low-level access strategy to drive the business forwards into the next 75 years.”
Established in 1945, the company focuses on ladder, scaffold and platform-related safety products, having developed an enviable reputation for quality and service.

NOTE TO EDITORS:
TB Davies was founded in 1945 by Great War and Second World War veteran Bryn Davies.
He sold his house to fund the fledgling business and keep a promise made to his friend and future Managing Director Colin Morgan – that he would have a job when the war was over. Mr Morgan took over the day-to-day running of the business in 1962.

The company now has 25 employees, has a training academy for working at height with ladders and scaffold towers, and sells ladders, scaffold towers, work platforms, and podium steps.
Its products are used in manufacturing, the construction industry, the defence and public sectors, and by warehouses, retailers, and utility companies.
