The Executive Hire Show took place this February 2020 in Coventry’s Ricoh Arena, attracting a wide range of professionals from the hire industry, boasting a higher attendance than in previous years.
Our stand, D14, received a good number of visitors from both national and independent companies, impressed with TB Davies’s high-end engineering, and ability to deliver next-working-day as standard across the UK, from high levels of finished stock and spare parts.
By far and away the product with the most interest was the Little Giant Safety Cage, with the King Kombo a close second. Visitors liked the fact that the Safety Cage folds completely flat, making it much easier to store or transport. This feature is especially valuable for the hire industry as the robust and compact design minimise the risk of damage to deliver a strong return on investment.
Manufactured from thick-wall fibreglass, the Safety Cage is proving a popular alternative to traditional podium steps with a broader market appeal, especially where an electrical hazard may exist such as the rail sector.
The King Kombo, also from Little Giant, has won numerous awards including recently crowned ‘Best Product of the Show’ Award at the American Society of Safety Professionals’ Safety Summit in Anchorage, Alaska. It continues to attract lots of attention for its lightweight, versatility and built-in safety features like the Ground-Cue™ that keep capturing people’s attention.
Manufactured from a revolutionary new lightweight GRP fibreglass weave, both the Safety Cage and King Kombo are much stronger than traditional GRP ladders. Delivering increased life span, as well as offering users additional safety features than generally found on conventional ladder and steps systems.
TB Davies has a wide range of safety products in both aluminium and glass fibre (GRP), covering ladders, steps, podiums and scaffold towers.
