Why Xtend+Climb is one of the Safest Telescopic Ladders

February 13, 2023

When it comes to ladders, safety should always be the main priority. That’s why TB Davies put the Xtend+Climb Telescopic Ladder through the Test & Research Centre in the UK to prove its strength and build quality beyond doubt. According to EN 131-6:2019, an international standard for telescopic ladders, this ladder successfully passed all the requirements for safety and performance at US-based Dekra Certification in Shanghai, China, and now in the UK.

The Xtend+Climb Telescopic Ladder is designed to reach up to 3.8m (12.5ft) with a maximum reach of 4m (13ft). This ladder is constructed from a tough, aerospace aluminium alloy that easily supports dynamic loads up to 150kg. The rungs are wide and offer comfortable foot positioning. The design also features a telescopic stabiliser bar at the base for improved sideways stability. Additionally, each rung locks securely into place as you extend or retract the ladder, offering further peace of mind that your ladder won’t collapse while in use.

To pass the EN 131-6:2019 test, each part of the Xtend+Climb Telescopic Ladder underwent extensive testing according to the standard.

These standards give consumers peace of mind that their ladder is safe for usage and help manufacturers provide quality products that meet high levels of performance and durability. Additionally, using a UK-based test and certification body gives maximum confidence. As such, users can rest assured that the Xtend+Climb Telescopic Ladder is ideally suited for indoor and outdoor use–whether getting those hard-to-reach items off shelves or in hardworking environments.

Ultimately, if you’re looking for durable telescopic ladders that offers exceptional performance without compromising safety, look no further than the Xtend+Climb Telescopic Ladder. With industry-leading standards applied during testing and manufacture, the Xtend+Climb will provide you with years of reliable service so you can confidently get on with any job – no matter how big or small!

Xtend+Climb ProSeries 2.0 Telescopic Ladders are widely available from all good hardware stores in the UK. If you require help finding one locally, contact our sales team, who can tell you your nearest stockist.
