Experience Unmatched Versatility and Safety with Our Innovative Ladder Design
Working at a significant height can be nerve-wracking, but the Little Giant® SumoStance® ladder eliminates those concerns and makes using an extension ladder easy. Designed for stability and its light weight, the SumoStance will easily become your new go-to ladder for every task.
*Arriving this September 2024* Date to be confirmed.

Wide-Flared Adjustable Outriggers
These stabilisers are independently adjustable, allowing you to fine-tune each bar individually to level the ladder on uneven or irregular surfaces. This independent adjustment capability ensures that your ladder remains stable and secure, even on challenging terrain. Whether you’re working on a sloped driveway or uneven ground, the side-mounted stabiliser bars enhance safety and provide a solid foundation, reducing the risk of wobbling or tipping. This advanced feature is designed to offer unparalleled stability and confidence in a variety of work environments.

Lightweight Non-Conductive Fibreglass
The SumoStance ladder features advanced, lightweight non-conductive fiberglass, making it easier to carry and maneuver. This durable material not only reduces weight but also ensures safety by preventing electrical conductivity, allowing you to reach high places with ease and confidence.

Swivel Feet
The ladder features versatile swivel feet designed for enhanced stability and safety. On flat, smooth surfaces, use the rubber-moulded foot to provide a secure grip and prevent slippage. For challenging conditions, simply adjust the feet to the ‘claw’ position. This specialised configuration offers exceptional traction on various surfaces, including hard ground and soft terrain, and maintains stability in all weather conditions. Whether you’re working on concrete, grass, or uneven ground, the swivel feet ensure that your ladder remains firmly in place, giving you confidence and safety during your tasks.

Extend with Ease – Side Mounted Double Pulley
The SumoStance ladder features a side-mounted double-pulley system designed to significantly reduce the effort needed to raise and lower the ladder. This advanced pulley mechanism allows for smoother, more efficient operation by distributing the lifting force, making it easier to handle the ladder, especially when extending to greater heights.
Additionally, the side-mounted design eliminates the potential tripping hazard associated with traditional pulley systems that protrude or hang from the ladder. This thoughtful feature not only enhances ease of use but also contributes to a safer working environment by minimizing obstacles and improving overall ladder handling.

Ground Cue:
Fitted with the patent-pending Ground Cue™, an audible and tactile signal to let you know when you’ve reached the bottom step of the ladder.
Lashing Rope:
The SumoStance ladder includes a durable lashing rope for added stability and security. This versatile rope can be used to secure the ladder to fixed structures or objects, preventing movement and ensuring a stable setup. Ideal for use on uneven ground or in windy conditions, the lashing rope enhances safety by minimizing the risk of the ladder shifting or tipping during use. Its easy-to-use design allows for quick and effective securing, giving you confidence and peace of mind while you work at height.
Pole Bow:
The SumoStance ladder features a unique pole bow positioned in place of the traditional top rung. This innovative design element enhances stability and safety by providing a secure, stable platform for handling long poles or other elongated tools.
Levels:
Little-Known Fact: having your ladder level off by just 1 inch at the bottom causes a 9-inch lean at the top of a 19-foot ladder. If safety is the goal, and it should be, the bubble levels on the SumoStance are a useful tool to ensure that your ladder is level before climbing.
The levels will be situated on the stile of ladder and underneath the first rung*.
