TB Davies achieves ISO 14001 certification, reinforcing sustainability leadership
TB Davies, a leading UK supplier of work-at-height safety solutions, has achieved ISO 14001 certification, marking a significant milestone in its ongoing commitment to sustainability and environmental leadership.
The internationally recognised ISO 14001 standard validates the company’s dedication to robust environmental management and highlights its proactive approach to reducing ecological impact.
Established in 1945, the family-owned business has long prioritised environmentally responsible practices, including harnessing solar energy, reducing plastic packaging, and introducing hybrid vehicles. These initiatives form part of the company’s ambitious goal of reaching Net Zero by 2050.
This certification follows TB Davies’ development of an award-winning carbon reduction plan in 2022, when it participated in the Business Wales Accelerated Growth Programme’s Carbon Emission Reduction Pilot. The pilot programme supported TB Davies in creating a measurable plan to significantly reduce its carbon footprint.

Securing ISO 14001 certification involved a rigorous assessment and close collaboration throughout the business. TB Davies accessed essential external expertise through the Business Wales Accelerated Growth Programme, which connected them with ISO specialist Brian Taylor. His guidance helped ensure the certification process succeeded on the first attempt.
