Today marks a proud milestone for TB Davies as we celebrate 80 years in business — and 80 years as a family-owned company.
Since its founding in 1945 by Flight Lieutenant Bryn Davies, the company has remained committed to the same principles that inspired its creation: quality, dependability, and care.
From its beginnings in post-war Cardiff to our modern home at Lewis Road, TB Davies has continued to grow, innovate, and serve customers across the UK — remaining a family business in every sense of the word.

Our Journey — From Cardiff to the Nation
Over eight decades, TB Davies has grown from a small Cardiff-based supplier to a national leader in access equipment. Today, we proudly represent trusted global brands such as Little Giant and Xtend+Climb, while continuing to manufacture ladders from our Lewis Road facility in Cardiff.
From our first offices at Park Place and Charles Street to our modern 3.5-acre headquarters in Splott, the company’s history mirrors Cardiff’s own evolution in industry, innovation, and craftsmanship.
