WHY NO FALLS WEEK MATTERS

No Falls Week is a national campaign that raises awareness of the risks of falls from height and encourages simple, practical actions that help prevent injuries and save lives.

At TB Davies, we believe safe working at height starts with planning, choosing the right equipment, carrying out regular inspections and building a culture where unsafe shortcuts are challenged.

LADDER SAFETY INFORMATION PACK

Our free information pack is designed for industrial teams, site managers, facilities teams and anyone responsible for safe access equipment.

It includes practical ladder safety reminders that can be shared with teams, used in toolbox talks, or kept as a quick reference when planning work at height.

BEFORE WORKING AT HEIGHT

Five Practical Reminders

1. Plan the Task

Assess the risk, plan the work and consider whether there is a safer alternative before starting.

    2. Choose Correctly

Select the right ladder, platform or access equipment for the task, working height and environment.

      3. Inspect First

Check the ladder and all components before use. Do not use equipment that is damaged, incomplete or unsafe.

        4. Use it Properly

Follow the manufacturer’s guidance, position equipment correctly and avoid overreaching or improvising.

          5. Speak up

Challenge unsafe shortcuts and report issues. Everyone has a role to play in preventing falls from height.

            FIND THE RIGHT ACCESS EQUIPMENT

Safe working at height depends on selecting suitable equipment for the task, environment and duration of work. Explore TB Davies access solutions or speak to our team for advice.
