Employer Fined In Fall From Height Charge

Scandinavian Log Cabins Direct Ltd, of Lincolnshire, is to pay £1k in fines and costs after a workman fell from a ladder. Raymond Martin, aged 48 year, had been working on a scaffold tower constructing a log cabin. The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is warning the construction industry of the dangers of working at height.
