Update: April 1st, 2020. As the pandemic continues to develop, we wanted to provide a short update to inform you our modern digital infrastructure and distribution is allowing us to operate as near to a normal service to help keep you operational.
Our inventory levels are high, and those that cannot work from home are adhering to the strictest hygiene and safe distancing levels. We plan to maintain a reduced 3-5 day delivery service, taking into account the latest Government guidance until further notice.
We would ask all of our customers to be patient with both our delivery partners and ourselves as we introduce new safety and working processes, for us to meet the demands of critical services that continue to need to work safely at height.
As the situation continues to evolve, our teams are on-hand to support with any queries and supply challenges that you may have. As in regular times, e-mail us or pick up the phone and give us a call.
Yours faithfully,
David Gray
Managing Director
Update: March 24th, 2020. Given yesterday’s announcement from the Prime Minister and while we consider the wellbeing of our staff and their families, we have decided to close all the operational parts of our business for 24-hours as we clarify next steps.
Acting in the spirit of the Prime Minister’s address to minimise the risks associated with spreading Covid-19, we will resume operations tomorrow on a reduced service. These temporary changes mean we are suspending all special delivery services, and our standard service will endeavour to deliver your order within five working days for products available from stock. Please check with our team for deliveries times of non-stock and special orders.
Stay safe and remain positive.
Yours faithfully,
David Gray

A Message to Our Customers
The COVID-19 virus is affecting us all, so we wanted to briefly share with you what TB Davies has been doing in response to the worldwide crisis.
Our priority is to maintain the health of our team while aiming to ensure our customers obtain the equipment and information they rely upon us to work safely at height.
Together with our suppliers and customers, we do not plan to lose any staff or see any of our team suffer any financial distress as a result of the crisis. We are continuously providing support, guidance and information so they can keep themselves and their families safe.
We have a robust business continuity plan, and all of our office team will have transitioned to working remotely from the close of business today. This process will be seamless to our business partners and should see no perceptible change to our day-to-day operations. Our office hours remain 8.30 – 5 pm Mon – Fri.
Continuation of a robust supply chain in these challenging times is essential, and we have plans in place to minimise disruption. At the same time, while the stock of core product is high, a combination of interruptions to production and exceptional demand means there is a limited supply of certain products, so there may be circumstances beyond our control which could lead to delays.
At the time of writing, we continue to be able to replenish stock and deliver your orders the next working day as long as we receive them by 5 pm for a large variety of product.
We will remain in contact as the situation develops over the coming hours, days and weeks.
In the meantime, stay safe and remain positive.
Yours faithfully,
David Gray
