Now available, the 4.4m latest telescopic ladder to come from the Xtend+Climb stable is the tallest telescopic ladder to hit the UK market. The added height makes this ladder a very attractive option for mobile teams in telecoms or facilities maintenance. It saves having an extension ladder on the van roof, making this a better alternative to those running extensive fleets.
With a host of new features that exceed the latest EN131 safety standards including the stabilising bar, which is also telescopic. The ladder is easy to extend either partially or fully, depending on your work situation, and the telescopic stabiliser ensures that the ladder stays upright by reducing sideways movement whilst using the ladder. New Lightening Locks are fast and easy to use, simply twist to let the ladder drop into its closed position.
Xtend+Climb are built using Tough Telescopic Technology to deliver many years of safe reliable service. The precision engineered tubes are manufactured using aerospace grade aluminium that is anodised to provide a durable coating to protect the ladder and ensure smooth operation. The couplings are the most important part of the ladder and are manufactured from shock resistant glass reinforced nylon 66, also used in the automotive industry.
TB Davies is now in its 14th year of close collaboration with Xtend+Climb. The ladders have evolved over the years and this latest version represents the cutting edge of both design and manufacturing quality. Designed in the USA and built in China, the Xtend+Climb range of telescopic ladders is one of our bestselling products. The new modifications underpin the TB Davies safety message that all of our products should make working at height as safe as standing on solid ground.
Later this year all Xtend+Climb telescopic ladders will feature the same Lightning Locks and Stabilising Bars.
